Why does MedSuitePro charge a percentage of collections instead of an hourly rate?
MedSuitePro employs a performance-based fee structure, charging a percentage of collections rather than an hourly rate, for several reasons:
Incentive for performance: Our compensation is directly tied to the success of our billing efforts, encouraging us to maximize collections and improve your revenue.
Cost-effectiveness: You only pay for results. This model ensures you’re paying for the revenue generated, offering more value compared to hourly rates, especially for smaller practices with variable income.
Flexibility: The percentage-based structure adjusts with your practice’s revenue, providing flexibility in managing expenses while receiving consistent billing services.
What software does MedSuitePro use?
MedSuitePro works with a wide range of Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management (PM) software systems, tailoring our services to the specific platforms used by each provider. This flexibility allows us to seamlessly integrate with the software your practice already relies on, ensuring smooth data flow and optimized billing processes.
We are experienced in navigating the nuances of different EHR and PM systems, which means we can continue to support your practice's unique workflows and ensure that your billing process remains efficient, accurate, and compliant.
By collaborating with the software your practice is already using, we can easily access patient data, submit claims, track payments, and generate reports without disruption to your daily operations. This flexibility is key to delivering tailored billing services that align with your practice's needs, regardless of the EHR or PM system in place.
How does data move from my practice to MedSuitePro?
MedSuitePro works within your system, where your practice retains full control of its data. We access your system with permission to assist with billing management and will never have control over your patient information or EHR account. Here’s how the data flows:
Data entry: Patient and insurance information, along with appointment details, are entered into the EHR to create a claim.
Claims generation: MedSuitePro uses the entered data to scrub and submit electronic claims to insurance companies.
Payment tracking and reporting: We track payments and update billing information in real time, providing regular financial reports to ensure you stay informed about your practice's revenue.
How quickly do you file claims?
We prioritize prompt claim submission. After reviewing for accuracy, we submit claims electronically within 24 hours. Electronic submission is the most efficient method, ensuring quicker processing and reducing errors. If necessary, we also submit claims via HCFA forms by mail, though this method is slower and less efficient.
How are claims submitted?
We submit all claims electronically, which ensures the fastest processing and payment. For insurers unable to accept electronic claims, we use HCFA forms to process and mail the claims.
Where do the payments go?
All payments are directed to your practice’s designated account. We require clients to promptly inform us of any payments received, including patient cash payments, checks, and EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) deposits. EFT payments are processed directly into your account, and we receive the corresponding Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) through the clearinghouse. For checks, we rely on your practice to deposit them and provide the necessary information.
How do you communicate with my practice and/or providers?
We use Zoom Group Chat to communicate efficiently with your practice. Each provider is given access to their own private, protected “channel” where they can receive and respond to messages regarding patient details, claims, and billing inquiries in a HIPAA-compliant environment.
How do you ensure no claims are missed?
Our team reviews all draft encounters in a timely manner. Claims are then submitted, rejected for missing details (such as diagnosis codes), or held for additional information. If necessary, we contact the provider or update insurance information to ensure claims are submitted without delay.
What sets MedSuitePro apart from other billing companies?
MedSuitePro offers several distinct advantages:
Transparency: We provide clear, upfront information about our services and fees, ensuring you know exactly what to expect.
Account Ownership: Unlike many other billing companies, you retain full control of your software and data. MedSuitePro operates as a user within your system, never taking ownership of your practice's data.
Timely Results: We are committed to meeting deadlines and ensuring your billing process runs smoothly, regardless of the challenges.
Experienced Team: Our staff has years of experience, providing expertise in medical billing and revenue cycle management.
Responsiveness: We prioritize fast, reliable communication to keep your practice running efficiently.
HIPAA Compliance: We adhere to strict HIPAA standards to safeguard your practice and patient information.
How is your fee determined?
Our fee is a percentage of the funds we collect on your behalf, aligning our goals with yours. If we don’t collect, you don’t pay. Our fee structure is transparent, with no hidden costs for services such as re-billing, reporting, or patient statements.
What is the cost of your medical billing services?
MedSuitePro charges a flat percentage of all payments collected, including commercial and government insurance, co-pays, self-pay, and other forms of payment. Please click here to see a full list of our services and pricing on each.
